Also with an original leaf from the 1551 edition of Chaucer’s works tipped in. Some soiling to binding. A scattering of black specs to the cloth, a fine copy internally.

§ Limited to 450 copies. An interesting study of the history of Chaucer in print from manuscript to the 20th century. Not rare, but important scholastically. Printed by Alfred and Lawton Kennedy. Item #126875
