Corners and backstrip worn with some splits at hinges, contents a little foxed but complete. Very good.
§ First edition of Dickens last novel. Edwin Drood appeared originally in six monthly parts from April-September 1870. When Dickens died of a stroke on June 9, 1870, he left no clue as to how the story ended. Since then many have tried to write a satisfactory resolution to the mystery.
