§ Second edition. This was the last book to appear with Hamilton’s illustrations in his lifetime as he died in late 1801. Du Roveray had first issued this work with Bensley in 1800 and this new (probably unauthorized) printing by Bulmer for the bookseller, Wright, did not please him. Weinglass, Fuseli, 155-7.
