Original red cloth with gilt-stamped backstrip and raised gilt illustration on upper cover depicting Ali Baba and a donkey, covers lightly soiled at edges, text much foxed, plates are in good condition, ink inscription on front free endpaper (“Adele Biederman Bush St. Sunday School Dec. 5, 1915,” half title and leaf immediately preceding rear endpaper are very discolored from their contact with endpapers. A good copy. An abridged version of Dulac’s beautiful and important 1907 Stories from the Arabian Nights, with 4 of the original 6 stories and 12 of the original 50 plates in a very attractive binding.
