Original red wrappers with a color illustration not in the book on each cover. Lower corner to front wrapper repaired, slight cracking a small repairs to backstrip, generally a very good copy of a very fragile pamphlet. First edition of this genuinely rare alphabet book with very bold and bright illustrations accompanied by a four-line rhyme. The endpapers are black and yellow silhouette illustrations of “The Jungle School.” No copy is listed online for sale as of 3/2017 and no copy noted at auction; OCLC records 6 copies -- Yale, Princeton, USF, University of Washington, Ohio State, and Mount Holyoke.
