Full scarlet crushed morocco extra by Riviere, original cloth covers bound in, modern slipcase. A brilliant copy, binding just lightly rubbed along upper joint. First edition in book form of this immensely popular work described by Tooley (66) as a most valuable and important book for the sporting life of the period, aptly described by Newton as 'a biography of a real man that reads like a work of fiction'.
