Imitation morocco boards, lightly soiled with blue border around gilt title and design by Greenaway to front board. All edges gilt. Dark blue endpapers with bookplate to front pastedown, recased. A good copy. First edition. Kate Greenaway (1846-1901) started working on her first Almanack in 1882. At this time she was already a well-known illustrator of greeting cards and books for children.
