Original blue cloth, upper cover titled in gilt with design, lower cover blindstamped, minor staining to upper cover, a very pleasant copy. First and only edition of this uncommon drawing manual instructing the teachers as to how to teach drawing to their pupils. The frontispiece is hand-sewn with silk threads into the image demonstrating the vanishing lines in the picture. At the end there is a printed slip tipped in advertising a set of models, a model stand, a model eye, and a case for them all, to go with the book. The front free endpaper has been neatly removed. OCLC records 8 copies in all.
