The Studio an Illustrated Magazine of Fine and Applied Art. Vol. XVII - vol. XXVII.

London etc: The Studio, 1899-1902. 9 vols, 4to, profusely illustrated in each volume with original lithographs, prints, and color and black-and-white reproductions. Original half green leather rather worn and shabby, two backstrips with substantial sections misssing, internally very clean and bindings quite sound. An immensely important periodical on fine art and applied art, The Studio is crammed with interesting articles and essays, as well as works of art by numerous artists and hundreds of reproductions in colour as well as black and white. Runs of even a few consecutive volumes are now hard to come by. With this run are included odd single issues for Feb 15,1899, April 15 1899, and Feb 16 1903, and two odd volumes bound in library cloth with no title-pages and probably imperfect. (Item Id: 5328)
