Original yellow cloth, lettered in black on the upper cover, black ruled border. Small repair to dust-jacket, split along hinge almost invisible and preserved in mylar, a very good bright copy. Number 40 of 225 copies printed at the Westminster Press on hand-made paper signed by the author. Fifoot EA13. "Following service in France during World War I, Lowinsky continued painting, holding his first one-man exhibition at the Leicester Galleries in 1926. He was a member of the New English Art Club from 1926 to 1942.[3] Lowinsky's work was primarily portraiture, but he also painted fantasy scenes.
