Signed by Ellis, perhaps the most notorious writer on sexuality in his day. Patrick McGahern notes of his copy: “A essay written by Henry Havelock Ellis (1859-1939), the British physician and writer on sex. His seven-volume "Studies in the Psychology of Sex" was extremely controversial and was banned in Britain.” He was highly regarded by the likes of Bertrand Russell, H. L.
