Songs of Innocence and Experience.
London: Methuen, 1925. 8vo, xx, 70 pp, with a black and white frontispiece (Spring). Very good in original brown cloth with black titles, but a few of the poems(and one or two of the notes) have been annotated in pencil : the previous owner has also used a blank half page at the end of "Innocence" to summarise key themes in each poem. First Edition thus, in Methuen's English Classics Series. A 10 pp general introduction, and notes on each of the poems comprising the last 26 pp.The commentary and notes are a useful introduction, but now somewhat dated. Bentley, BB, 179.
