Good throughout internally, bound in contemporary calf, rather worn, with the front board reattached and the spine worn, with slight loss at head and tail. Original black labels. Text tightly bound with generally slight browning to the margins and very occasional minor mottling on a few pages. Corner of pp.63/64 of Gulliver's Travels torn with a 1cm triangular loss of text. "Sentimental Journey" has title dated 1785 (2nd issue), with Blake's plate at p.52 in good condition, slight browning to page border margins and a pale mark to one plate image. "David Simple " has its individual title page dated 1788 (second issue), with Blake's plate at p 66 a good clean impression, again with slight browning to first 0.5 cm of the outer page margin. "Sir Launcelot Greaves" has title dated 1787 (second issue), with Blake's plate a good crisp impression with again slight browning to some 0.5 cm of outer margins.
