London: Longman, Rees, Orme, & Brown, 1820. 4to, original half calf, green marbled boards, slightly worn to edges. A number of the plates are spotted, but all the Blake plates are very good and clean. The volume is generally very good condition. First edition, issued in fascicles between 1802 and 1820. Abraham Rees worked on improvements to the Chamber’s Cyclopaedia in the 1780’s, before publishing his own more comprehensive work in parts beginning in 1802, completed with the publication of the six plate volumes in 1820.
