London: Heinemann, . 4to, xvii, 76 pp. With 24 tipped in titled tissue-guarded color plates and numerous other monochrome illustrations, some full page. Original beige boards stamped in gilt on the upper cover, vellum backstrip lettered in gilt, a bit soiled and dull but fine internally. De luxe edition #389 of an edition limited to 550 copies signed by Rackham. An unusual book for Rackham, but one in which he explored the beauty of sensuality in an enchanted realm (omitting some of Miltons uglier conceits) and gave the poem a new and rather delightful tone.
