Remnants of the original glassine wrapper are still clinging to the boards, a fine copy that appears to have never been read. Signed by the author at the colophon. First edition, number 248 of 400 copies signed by Faulkner. A short story based in southwest Arizona, hints of the love story that would become The Wild Psalms appear in this melodrama.
