Some minimal chips to top-edge and backstrip of wrapper, else very good. Bookplate of “Oxford University Press Library Ely House E 1” to first endpaper. First edition thus, “The Pilgrim Edition. Frontispiece is “Boz’s Introduction to Christopher North and the Caledonian Youth,” also included are two facsimiles of letters, and a map of Dickens’s route in his tour of the Highlands, July 1841.
