Limited to 300 copies printed by Mardersteig in Montagnola under the direction of Frederic Warde and with his Arrighi types. This facsimile of: (1) La operina di Ludouico Vicentino, da imparare di scriuere littera cancellarescha; (2) Il modo de temperare le penne con le uarie sorti de littere ordinato per Ludouico Vicentino, in Roma nel anno MDXXIII, is one of Mardersteigs earlier books, printed before he moved to Verona. He went on to issue several more writing manuals including -- Moyllus, Mercator, Brun, Celebrino, Feliciano, and Torniello. They are amongst his finest productions. Mardersteig 15. Barr 14.
