Bound in color-printed pictorial card covers, pages stapled. Slightly bumped at corners; very good. Early English translation of the first edition. Bancroft, owned by a Czech refugee from the Nazis, was the first Western publisher to market Kuba tas books. Kuba ta, relatively unknown in his time, illustrated and designed over 300 books.
