A charming pamphlet that accompanied an exhibition of Barbara Hodgesons artwork and publications organized by Wessel & Lieberman Booksellers in Seattle. A companion piece to The Temperamental Rose. This pamphlet contains a DIY experiment in examining various colours relative lightfastness - the middle panel, which contains a hand-painted colour spectrum, is the be exposed to sunlight for a year, with the perforated recto panel covering different amounts of it for shorter periods of time. At the end of the year in the sunlight, different colours will be shown to have faded (or, in some cases, grown darker) to varying degrees. This is number 12 of a numbered edition of 60.
