Sylvia Cut-Outs was first published on May 13, 1984, and Sylvia Cat Cut-Outs, on May 20, 1984. Nicole Hollander is an American author of feminist cartoons and comic strips, best known for “The Feminist Funnies” from feminist magazine The Spokeswoman.
