A very good copy, label on backstrip faded Limited to 100 copies, of which this is number 96. The first book of the Press, written by Lewis Allens father and printed at their home at 2537 Larkin Street in San Francisco. Gaskin was Allens brother-in-law and a nationally known painter, once director of the San Francisco Federal Art Project. A rare book, only the second copy weve had in 40+ years and only 4 copies at auction since 1975 ($350-$900).
