The Theory of Relativity. Two Papers published in 1905 On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies and Does the Inertia of a Body depend on its Energy-Content? Centennial Edition... with foreword, annotations, and afterword by Richard A. Muller.
San Francisco: Arion Press, 2005. 4to, 78, (1, colophon)pp. With a pixelated frontispiece portrait of Einstein from a photographic portrait, created from type ornaments. Printed throughout in blue and black. Original dark blue cloth with a band of tie-dyed Thai paper to create an unusual spatial effect spanning the cover diagonally (blurb). Limited to 400 numbered copies. Fine with the prospectus. The pixelated portrait of Einstein is based on a photograph taken about 1910, handset in units of six-point type: three sizes of solid squares and one centered dot. Over 4,000 pieces of type make up the picture which is somewhat reminiscent of the work of Chuck Close.
