An Index to Dibdins Edition of the Typographical Antiquities first compiled by Joseph Ames, with some references to the intermediate edition by William Herbert.
London: Blades, East & Blades, 1899. 8vo, (6), -77 pp. Printed gray paper wrappers detached, worn and chipped. Contents generally very good. Printed by William Blades (one of the first Caxton scholars, though their firm was largely concerned with security printing). This index to Dibdins Edition of the Typographical Antiquities first compiled by Joseph Ames was printed by Blades because ...so far as is known, only a single copy exists...belonging to the Library of Sion College (preface).
