§ The first printing of Twain's translation. One of 1500 copies. Struwwelpeter was first issued in Frankfurt-am-Main in 1845. The translation by Mark Twain was made in Berlin in 1891. Hoffman's illustrations were redrawn for the this edition and hand-colored using stencils. Item #125060
