ALS to an unnamed recipient.
1840. London: June 1, [18]40.
4to, 2 pp., (with conjugate leaves) written in ink. With two wax seals still present but mostly illegible -- one possibly has the monogram TFD.
§ Dibdin writes slightly testily to the addressee: "... the weather is hot, my paper of limited dimensions, and a "Catalogue Raisonné" of my works utterly impractical in consequence. You will find 9/10ths of them in my "Reminiscences of a Literary Life". There is a most admirable (for its truth) likeness of me just published by Dickinson..." Item #123824
