§ First edition of the first book to have photographs of Shakespeare's birthplace. Although not rare, the book is important and fine copies are hard to come by. Since 1976 five copies have sold at auction. There are relatively few earlier books showing English street scenes in photography. Not in "The Truthful Lens" which does record two other books with photographs by Edwards. Item #123344
