The leaf is loose so it can be removed for framing or display. Portfolio boards a little soiled, leaf fine will some minor soiling in the outer margins. A superb leaf with a woodcut by Burne-Jones, known as the "Astrolabe" leaf. The essay studies the value of the Kelmscott Chaucer from publication until today and compares prices over that century with the Nuremberg Chronicle, the Hypnerotomachia Poliphili, Shakespeare’s first folio, and the King James Bible.
