§ Edition de luxe, limited to 49 copies (and one retained by the Club); this copy has three fine leaves and is printed on hand-made paper. The announcement of the “winners” of the de luxe editions is taped to a free endpaper. The regular copies were on machine-made paper and had inferior leaves. Printed at the Grabhorn Press, this is one of the most pleasing leaf books issued by the club both for content, quality of leaves, and design. The entire edition was limited to 390 copies. With a leaf from Egregii Patris Ricardi de Superdivina Trinitae (Paris: Henri Estienne, 1510), a leaf from Eusebii Pamphili Evangelicae Demonstrationis (Paris: Robert Estienne, 1545), and a leaf from Dionis Cassii Romanarum Historiarum (Geneva: Henri II Estienne, 1591).
