No. 1 lightly soiled and edgeworn, wrapper detached; No. 2 very good with some faint creasing; No. 3 very good with some faint creasing and an old tape repair to three short closed tears in the lower wrapper; No. 4 very good, wrappers faintly soiled. Housed in a custom cloth portfolio with ribbon tie.

Printed by the Crypt House Press, Gloucester. All of Rupert Brookes contributions, which later appeared in 1914 and Other Poems (1915) made their first appearance here, including "The Soldier" ("If I should die, think only this of me: / That there's some corner of a foreign field / That if forever England.")
