Folio, title-page printed in red and black, 25 pages of text with b&w illustrations in text, two page table of plates, one page table of contents, 40 color plates with 63 motifs. Disbound plates and unopened leaves housed in a quarter brown cloth portfolio with beige paper boards titled in brown and red, and cloth ties. Portfolio is a bit rubbed around the edges, some minor foxing to the edges of the leaves, else a very good copy with bright plates and unopened text block that has likely never been read.

§ An exemplary collection of plates exhibiting Egyptian decorations from the Theban Empire (roughly 1400 to 1000 BCE), mainly devoted to ceiling design as recovered from tombs and friezes. Item #108613
