Seven vols., folio, 120; 96; 96; 96; 96; 96; 96 ll. Fully illustrated leaves printed to recto only in green, phthalo blue, sepia, peach, burgundy, and black. Quarter red cloth, with color printed gray boards (vol. 1 has inlaid illustration in green and red), title printed in black to backstrips. Backstrips on all volumes have some minor fraying, and boards are slightly rubbed at edges and bumped at corners; otherwise a very good, bright, and complete set.
§ First edition, seven volumes complete. The most comprehensive, illustrated encyclopedic lexicon of Art Nouveau design ever published. Each page packed with images including but not limited to, ceramics, glass, jewelry, wallpaper, furniture, book bindings, book plates, ornamental alphabets, book art, metalwork, silver, china, lace, and advertising art, represented with photographic reproductions, and sketches.
