§ Original photograph by William Keith of Collis P. Huntington. William Keith (1838-1911) was a Scottish-American painter famous for his California landscapes. Collis P. Huntington (1821-1900) was one of the Big Four of western railroading, the uncle of Henry E. Huntington. This iconic portrait is from late in his life.
