Collector’s Edition of Brett Weston: Photographs From Five Decades. An Aperture Monograph. Brett Weston (1911-1993) was the second son of photographer Edward Weston, and became his apprentice in 1925, and accompanied him to Mexico where he was surrounded and influenced by artists such as Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera and Tina Modotti. In 1947 he received a Guggenheim Fellowship. Throughout his career Weston’s style changed to feature high contrast, abstract imagery. Item #108126
