Color-printed pictorial stiff card wrappers with cloth hinges. Slight bumping to corners; very good.
§ Early English translation of the first edition. Scarce with the stand-alone cutouts intact. Bancroft, owned by a Czech refugee from the Nazis, was the first Western publisher to market Kuba ta’s books. Kuba ta, relatively unknown in his time, illustrated and designed over 300 books.
