§ The story is the first chapter of Genesis, written in French, illustrated in a charming, child-like style in chromatic shades of red, blue, green, and yellow. The book was written and illustrated by “Francoise” (1897-1961), which is the professional pseudonym for the world-famous French children’s book author and illustrator, Francoise Seignobosc.
