Contemporary half green morocco with gilt rules, green cloth boards, backstrip with five raised bands ruled in gilt, lettering and decorative flourishes stamped in gilt to panels, top-edge gilt, gilt-heightened marbled endpapers reminiscent of light rippling across a forest pool. The backstrip has faded much like the color of an oak leaf in fall, some slight bumps at corners, occasional foxing near frontis plates and endpapers; overall a very good set.
